The Clinical Support Specialist role plays a vital part in enhancing patient care and supports healthcare providers by utilizing a diverse set of skills and expertise to implement prescribed medical interventions. Clinical Support Specialists are versatile health professionals tasked with executing both administrative and clinical responsibilities in our primary care settings while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-visit preparations tailored to the type of patient appointment
  • Oversee the provider's calendar to ensure smooth operational flow
  • Gather and document patient medical histories and vital signs
  • Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare professionals during medical procedures and treatments
  • Carry out specimen collection and perform point-of-care testing
  • Prepare and administer medications under the supervision of healthcare professionals
  • Ensure precise documentation in electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including the recording of quality measures
  • Uphold established quality control standards

Essential Qualifications

1 - 3 years of experience as a Clinical Support Specialist in direct patient care settings

Current CPR certification

Less than 2 years of leadership experience

This position involves direct patient interaction and is part of a health screening initiative. If selected, you will be required to undergo health screenings.

Must demonstrate teamwork and possess excellent communication abilities

Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Proficiency with MS Outlook

Basic computer skills

Must be committed to contributing to an organization focused on enhancing consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual capabilities

Hands-on experience in Phlebotomy

Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records

Experience with quality measures

Additional Information

This role involves direct patient interaction and is part of a health screening initiative. If selected, you will be required to undergo health screenings.

The salary range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. $34,500 - $47,400 per year
