Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Exhaust System Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool knowledge.

This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting to work Monday through Friday during the night shift with varying hours between 9 PM – 6 AM.

The estimated hourly range for this position is $22-26 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and cleaning kitchen and exhaust systems in commercial businesses and food trucks;
  • Cleaning of the kitchen exhaust system includes using pressure washers, cleaning agents, hand-scraping, and proper tools to remove grease from the hoods, fans, and ducts of the system;
  • Pollish and sanitize the commercial equipment with provided supplies;
  • Climbing ladders, kitchen equipment, and up to building roofs using the proper safety protocols and Personal Protective Equipment;
  • Working with General Manager, Project Managers, and dispatcher to fulfill jobs as scheduled;
  • Communicating with customers in a professional manner reflective of company values;
  • Driving company vehicle to and from jobsites and adhering to company Fleet Safety protocols;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check;
  • The ability to work in a team and follow direction from lead technicians;
  • Consistent communication with team members and management;
  • Physical Requirements: regular lifting of 50+ pounds, regular climbing of ladders and stairs, working indoors and outdoors involves roof work, regular presence in confined spaces, regular sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, lifting, climbing, and walking, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
