Space Systems Configuration and Data Management Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Space Systems Configuration and Data Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing configuration and data management systems to ensure seamless integration and delivery of spacecraft products.
Responsibilities- Lead mission configuration and data management to ensure timely submission of contract deliverables that meet customer expectations
- Develop and implement change control processes for requirements and design parameter changes
- Manage interface requirements and their verification to ensure compliance with technical budgets, ICDs, program plans, and technical performance measures
- Administer the requirements database and perform compliance and traceability assessments to report key metrics and issues effectively to program leadership and stakeholders
- Establish requirements and verification Configuration Management structure and assess proposed configuration changes to identify and implement system and process improvements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aerospace engineering or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in product configuration management with proficiency in configuration management tools
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering performing activities such as requirements definition, traceability, interface definition, design documentation, integration, verification, and validation
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and proficiency in product lifecycle management
The estimated salary for this position is $120,060 - $168,084 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
