Key Responsibilities- Lead the data consulting workstream on implementation around CRIMS and Alpha, ensuring that solutions meet customer business needs and can be effectively operated by the customer.
- Evaluate data requirements and provide product expertise and guidance throughout the project.
- Develop a central knowledge repository and best practices around data strategy, assisting other Professional Services team members as needed.
- Educate customers on best practices around data management and data quality within CRIMS and Alpha.
- Monitor and evaluate customer data requirements to identify potential enhancements to Charles River solutions and services.
- Contribute to software quality by communicating defects to Client Support and Product Management.
- Analyze and evaluate customer data requirements, needs, and gaps to help Charles River respond to sales opportunities.
- First-hand knowledge of financial operations from a bank, corporate, consulting, or software vendor background.
- Consulting experience implementing Capital Markets or IT projects successfully.
- Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures, data feeds, import/export mapping, and relational database structures.
- Familiarity with SQL, Bloomberg, or financial analytics providers (FactSet, Yieldbook...) is a plus.
- Experience with tracking, managing, and troubleshooting data flow for software implementations.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Four (4) year degree in Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Advanced degree or industry certification such as the CFA is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
