Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Assistant to join our team at Concord Group Insurance. As a Claims Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting the Claims Department with the processing and servicing of policyholder claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and manage the intake of new claims
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Scan and index claim file documentation to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Develop a strong understanding of basic insurance fundamentals and principles
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong general clerical skills and attention to detail
  • Professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other PC-based software
  • Accuracy in spelling and grammar and ability to learn quickly
  • Experience working in a paperless environment is a plus
