Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and experienced professional to join our water resources team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years of expertise in the analysis and design of stormwater management systems. This role will involve collaboration with diverse teams to serve a wide range of clients, both existing and prospective. The successful applicant will leverage their technical skills to effectively plan and execute projects within a dynamic team environment, while also providing guidance and support to colleagues in related disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing software tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS to assess and design stormwater, stream, and water quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Engaging in local and regional travel to interact with clients and conduct field assessments.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Current registration as a licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain such registration within six months of employment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stormwater management, natural stream restoration, and water quality assessment and design.
  • A solid background in project management, including feasibility studies, design report preparation, and the development of construction documents and specifications.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and regulatory bodies.
