Your Role

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced engineers on a diverse range of infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting essential calculations and assisting in various engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Supporting the team in the preparation of civil designs, technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Providing assistance during the construction phase, including reviewing submissions, responding to inquiries, and observing construction activities.
  • Managing small-scale deliverables based on your experience and skill level.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and analytical methods.
  • Ability to manage deliverables effectively to meet project timelines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a capacity for creative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and related documents.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience, including internships or co-op positions.
  • Fieldwork may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
Work Environment

This position typically involves working in an office setting, utilizing computers and engaging in desk work. Initial employment will require full-time office presence, transitioning to a hybrid model as appropriate.
