Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day student billing and payments with precision and care
  • Provide a high-touch customer service experience to students and prospective students
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with Financial Aid Officers, Dean's Office, and Bursar's Office administrators
  • Oversee the Student Billing inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all inquiries
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to streamline business operations
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Student Affairs and Dean's Office team members in matters related to scheduling
  • Orchestrate classroom assignments for all on-campus class sessions, maximizing resource utilization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years' of professional administrative experience, or high school graduation or GED, and seven years of professional administrative experience, including one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level
  • Service-minded approach to executing job functions
  • Sharp attention to detail, innovative problem-solving skills, and collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, and other common office technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with university faculty, staff, and students
  • Experience and familiarity with UT Austin structure, policies, procedures, and administrative functions
  • Experience with UT Austin student billing and related policies
  • Experience with military educational benefits and related policies
  • Experience with UT Austin course scheduling and related policies

Working Conditions:

  • May work under standard office conditions (shared office space provided) with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
  • Extended hours and occasional travel during peak work periods

Salary Range:

$45,000 + depending on qualifications
