  • Utilize Primavera P6 Standalone for scheduling tasks.
  • Regularly produce schedule update reports and project narratives.
  • Comprehend all project elements, including drawings, contractual requirements, site conditions, and risks that may affect project completion.
  • Assist in educating project team members on CPM scheduling principles.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Planning & Scheduling Department.
  • Create summary schedules for pre-construction phases.
  • Establish baseline schedules for projects.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training new scheduling staff as the company expands.
  • Delegate project assignments to the scheduling team.
  • Monitor project performance using executive dashboards.
  • Analyze performance trends and devise strategies to enhance project outcomes.
  • Prepare the annual budget for the department.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree in a construction-related field (e.g., BSCE, BSCM, BSAE) is preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Field experience in construction management as a Superintendent or Project Manager is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years in Construction Management, including at least 5 years as a Planner/Scheduler, with a preference for multifamily construction experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams.
  • Experience in leading construction coordination meetings.
  • Ability to take initiative and assert leadership within the organization.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
