Position: Floor Manager

Job Summary

  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Previous experience in hospitality management in a high-volume environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Lead by Example**: Adhere to appearance standards outlined in the Employee Handbook and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • **Guest Experience**: Welcome and assist guests to create a positive first impression, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • **Conflict Resolution**: Resolve customer and staff issues professionally, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
  • **Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • **Staff Supervision**: Supervise staff to optimize restaurant efficiency and profitability, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • **Quality Control**: Ensure food and beverage quality meets standards, maintaining high levels of quality and consistency.
  • **Training and Development**: Train and support Front of House staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their growth and development.
  • **Scheduling**: Manage staff schedules based on performance and forecasts, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • **Staff Development**: Participate in staff development and growth opportunities, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • **Emergency Procedures**: Train staff on emergency procedures and safety protocols, ensuring preparedness and response.
  • **Cleanliness and Order**: Maintain cleanliness and order in dining areas, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • **Policy Enforcement**: Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring staff compliance and adherence.
  • **Operational Knowledge**: Understand operational systems and menu items thoroughly, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
  • **Financial Reconciliation**: Oversee financial reconciliation and end-of-shift procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • **Training and Meetings**: Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings, staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with team members and support their work, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of hospitality management in a high-volume setting.
  • Associate degree in Hospitality or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills required.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products, POS systems, and technology.
