Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at CommUnityCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and language disorders in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in pediatric patients, including articulation, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatics.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide direct one-on-one clinical treatment to improve speech, language, and communication skills in pediatric clients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based treatment practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Texas.
  • Current Health Care Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a patient-centered medical home (PCMH) environment.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation process and requirements.
