Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients with physical, psychological, and cognitive challenges to determine the potential benefits of speech therapy.
  • Supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Clinical Fellows, ensuring patient care aligns with individual needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and caregivers to develop and assess personalized care plans.
  • Coordinate and document care in collaboration with all healthcare professionals involved in the patient's treatment.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders using appropriate assessments and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including notes, verbal orders, and other records, in a timely manner.
