Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients with physical, psychological, and cognitive challenges to determine the potential benefits of speech therapy.
  • Supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Clinical Fellows in delivering patient care tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and caregivers to develop and assess personalized care plans.
  • Coordinate care and maintain communication with all healthcare professionals involved in the patient's treatment as necessary.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, utilizing appropriate assessments and measurements.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including notes, verbal orders, and other records, consistently and promptly.

A Day in the Life:

A licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide therapeutic programs to pediatric patients with cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities or delays in the home and community setting. Our Speech Language Pathologist approaches each day with a passionate pursuit of caring for patients by working one-on-one with them and helping them to achieve their health goals.
