About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our Gaming team at Light and Wonder, Inc. As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing projects that leverage our proprietary Game Development Kit (GDK).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term and short-term plans for GDK releases, ensuring alignment with business needs and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with GDK Leadership to plan and coordinate GDK releases, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Host regular project meetings and communicate with development managers to coordinate technical stack releases.
  • Stay informed about global game development trends and emerging features, ensuring future GDK releases meet evolving industry standards and requirements.
  • Manage quality control on GDK releases throughout the development cycle, collaborating with Software Engineers, Artists, Quality Assurance, and other supporting personnel.
  • Organize and manage documentation across multiple evolving versions of our GDK, gathering stakeholder user feedback to improve usability and prioritize projects.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant project management role, with a strong background in software management tools and processes.
  • Knowledgeable in software best practices, with a solid understanding of technical issues and ability to identify technical risks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to consult with subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Command of the English language and grammar is essential, with experience using Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Game Development or industry experience, with a broad knowledge of project development tools and experience with content collaboration and task management tools.
  • Familiarity with Unity or other game engines, with experience managing stakeholders and coordinating with 3rd party vendors and suppliers.
