As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design process through projects, monitoring technical aspects, coordinating with contractors and owners, and performing design management functions through construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design process through projects, monitoring technical aspects, coordinating with contractors and owners, and performing design management functions through construction.
  • Staff and schedule design work to meet milestones, and interact regularly with the team to ensure engineering optimization of the design and prioritization of the design work.
  • Lead other Engineers and design personnel in technical excellence and growth in the Quality Improvement Process.
  • Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations, providing the seal and signature of the professional engineer when required by statute or contract.
  • Develop operation and maintenance plans, develop standard operating procedures, prepare O & M manuals, and conduct on-site training of personnel.
  • Conduct surveys, studies, and site investigations.
  • Perform reliability, availability, maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses.
  • Maintain affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
  • Help determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
  • Assist with other administrative and technical duties.
  • Recommend and prepare technical papers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with PE License.
  • 10 years or more experience including design/management experience of a large team, as well as project management delivery experience on water infrastructure projects (pumping stations, pipelines, tunnels, reservoirs).
  • Proven experience successfully managing design teams of people.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • US Person.
  • Experience managing design of large water infrastructure.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Nevada for this position.
