Position Overview:
The role of the Equipment Assembly Specialist involves assembling high-quality track loaders and skid steer loaders. This position requires a commitment to safety and teamwork, ensuring that each product meets our high standards of reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to detailed work instructions to ensure timely and safe production of equipment.
- Utilize a range of manual and pneumatic tools to assemble components accurately.
- Conduct thorough inspections of work to maintain quality standards.
- Install moving parts, including shafts and bearings, and verify their functionality.
- Set up hydraulic systems by installing necessary pipes and hoses.
- Disassemble and reassemble components as needed to guarantee quality assembly.
- Assist in testing the operation of completed machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Document serial numbers and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Six to twelve months of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions and correspondence.
- Proficient in recording data accurately and verifying information.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated dependability, energy, initiative, and effective time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for assembly tasks. Occasional climbing, kneeling, or crawling may be necessary. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds is frequently required. Specific vision abilities include close vision and depth perception.
