Job Summary

The Container Fabricator/Welder will play a critical role in our operations, responsible for repairing, painting, and performing maintenance on containers and roll-off boxes. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on front, rear, and roll-off containers
  • Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment
  • Fabricate steel components using a brake and shear
  • Cut steel using a plasma cutter or torch
  • Fabricate steel components for hoppers, containers, and compactors
  • Install lids and wheels on containers
  • Paint repaired containers
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Install company and safety decals in accordance with company standards
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified welder
  • Advanced knowledge of MIG and stick welders, plasma cutters, and airless paint sprayers
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal supervisory involvement
