Job Overview

This position is integral to our operations, providing essential technical support for both internal teams and external clients.

OBJECTIVE
The primary focus of this role is to deliver mechanical and electrical application expertise, ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative solutions and thorough product evaluation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity in design and problem-solving, leveraging engineering principles to analyze advanced systems while fostering mentorship within the organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to define requirements that align with project goals while proposing alternative solutions.
  • Perform technical evaluations to address customer inquiries, utilizing existing documentation to provide informed recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate technical specifications, design concepts, and business strategies to a diverse audience.
  • Interpret and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical schematics with precision.
  • Configure and troubleshoot product communication protocols.
  • Diagnose issues within pneumatic and electrical circuits.
  • Analyze data using corporate management systems, including CAD models and product documentation.
  • Conduct independent research on various topics, summarizing findings and presenting insights.
  • Complete assigned projects while adhering to departmental processes.
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to a wide range of internal and external customers.
  • Lead or participate in teams to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Travel for training, customer support, or industry events as required.
  • Document daily activities and progress.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in an office, laboratory, or manufacturing setting.
  • Capacity to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 51 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Physical capability to use basic hand tools in various environments.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings or events outside regular business hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience as determined by management.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • Proficient in project management principles and documentation.
  • Familiarity with CAE tools and their application in product processes.
  • Understanding of design tolerances and their implications.
  • Knowledge of common industrial processes and controls.
  • Familiarity with material and component selection based on application.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Understanding of communication protocols.
  • Experience in conducting research using corporate resources.
  • Excellent time management skills to effectively handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in using basic inspection tools in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience with advanced inspection equipment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
