As a Front Desk Agent at Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless stay. Your primary responsibilities will include registering guests, making and modifying reservations, and handling hotel operator and concierge duties.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay, maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
- Front Desk Operations: Maintain proper operation of the telephone switchboard, handle requests for information, mail, and messages, and answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
- Communication: Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Experience: Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Possess a positive and upbeat personality, with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. Demonstrate the ability to convey information and ideas clearly, evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, and work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
