Job Title: Testing Center Director

The Testing Center Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the planning, supervision, and oversight of the Testing and Assessment Center department and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the effective delivery of testing services and programs.
  • Supervise and manage the testing center team, providing guidance, training, and coaching to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement new programs, initiatives, and strategies aligned with the University's goals.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the testing center, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and coordinating resources, tools, and support services.
  • Provide guidance and support to faculty, staff, and students on testing-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and other external partners.
  • Manage budgets, finances, and resources to ensure the efficient operation of the testing center.
  • Ensure the testing center is equipped with the necessary technology, equipment, and facilities to support testing services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Management, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience working in higher education, academic support, testing services, or student services.
  • 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of admissions, student services, or testing services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office and HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • National College Testing Association (NCTA) certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be adaptable to performing under moderate levels of stress.
