Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with prospective clients, identifying new opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet with potential clients to negotiate and secure business
- Deliver sales presentations to clients
- Ensure clients receive professional, courteous, and timely support and service
- Maintain a strong understanding of our industries, regulations, processes, and procedures
- Support and implement strategic plans to accomplish company goals
- Forecast client activity and set performance goals accordingly
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs
- Maintain a strong understanding of PK's service lines
- Maintain all CRM software, including Hubspot
- Maintain records of all visits and telephone contacts of assigned regulatory clients within the database daily
- Generate reports, as required
- Participate in tradeshows and/or regulatory conferences, when necessary
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 5 years' experience selling professional services
- Lived in the capital city for 5+ years with a demonstrated understanding of how state government agencies purchase goods and services
- Proficiency in use of a Sales CRM
- Demonstrated proficiency in persuasive writing using conversational English
- Highly motivated, pro-active self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with internal and external parties
- Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
- Must be able to address the needs of diverse customers; understand and respond in a culturally responsive way
