Job Summary:

Horizon House is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support our program expansion in the Philadelphia PA area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sound employee relations practices, conducting recruitment efforts, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure sound employee relations practices by helping employees understand and consistently apply policies and procedures.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all personnel, students, and temporary employees.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Record and prepare information for local and federal reporting.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree and five (5) years experience in employment processes required.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, strong organizational and anticipatory skills with good follow-up necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office suite required.
