The Regional Service Operations Manager is tasked with the responsibility of establishing, monitoring, and achieving budgeted targets related to refrigerant gas acquisition and service revenue. Success in this role hinges on leading a team that comprehends our clients' requirements, providing suitable solutions from our product and service offerings, and executing services that fulfill customer expectations.

The Regional Service Operations Manager will oversee the following areas and should ideally be situated within one of these markets:
  • Minneapolis, MN
  • Cleveland, OH
  • Detroit, MI
  • St. Louis, MS
  • Kansas City, KS
Key Responsibilities
  • Guide a regional or multi-state management team through effective training, coaching, and development, while ensuring accountability for meeting or surpassing established goals.
  • Maintain a strong focus on employee safety.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and relay feedback from the field to promote continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Foster a strong emphasis on refrigerant gas acquisition and profitable revenue growth by working closely with other departments.
  • Act as a strategic leader capable of proactively addressing challenges and making decisions aligned with company success factors, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Manage a P&L effectively and instill a P&L mindset throughout the organization, including the analysis, planning, and execution of annual budgets for the designated territory.
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing market growth strategies based on key customer demographics to enhance and expand the customer base.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports to utilize available resources for independent problem-solving.
  • Proactively manage talent by preparing employees for advancement and creating a talent pipeline for critical roles.
  • Embrace and advocate for the use of technology to meet business needs.
  • Guide and mentor direct reports on promoting and utilizing our refrigerant recovery equipment as a unique technical solution.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
  • Essential
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong persuasive and interpersonal abilities with a sales orientation.
    • A technical mindset to comprehend and reinforce our refrigerant recovery processes.
    • Proven experience in formulating specific market strategies within an assigned region.
    • Ability to collaborate with People & Culture to ensure compliance with state and local employment regulations.
    • Proficient computer skills: SAP People, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Self-motivated and capable of problem-solving.
    • Possession of a valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
    • Bachelor's degree required, with experience in sales or a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferred
    • Experience in the specialty chemical industry and/or HVAC.
  • Working Conditions & Environment
    • Frequent travel via truck or plane, with overnight stays as necessary during travel weeks.
    • Work conducted both indoors and outdoors under varying conditions.
    • Significant time may be spent operating a motor vehicle.
    • Professional appearance is required at all times to represent the company's image.
    • Exposure to environments of customer facilities.
    • Fast-paced work environment subject to frequent schedule and priority changes with little notice.
