Regional Operations Director Job Description

Vertin Company is seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Director to lead our funeral and cemetery operations within an assigned region. This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and continuously improve day-to-day operations of funeral and cemetery services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and optimal business outcomes.
  • Manage employee performance, providing timely feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to drive individual and team success.
  • Hold staff accountable for meeting performance metrics, goals, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Implement business strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and senior leadership, to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, developing innovative solutions to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a culture of integrity and accountability.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent, plus five or more years of related experience and/or training in a professional setting.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to drive results and improve performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
