PrimeSource Building Products is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling full lines of building materials to assigned channels by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from various sources.
- Drives vehicle throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Communicates and understands competitive field level pricing across product categories.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
- Records expenses and submits per company policy.
- Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
- Tracks stock levels at customer location.
- Responsible for submitting itineraries, call reports and any other corporate or local requirements.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, OR six months to one year related experience and/or training.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CRM systems, Company Reporting Software, Internet Software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
- Valid Driver's License, current Insurance.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
