Job Summary

PrimeSource Building Products is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling full lines of building materials to assigned channels by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from various sources.
  • Drives vehicle throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Communicates and understands competitive field level pricing across product categories.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Records expenses and submits per company policy.
  • Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Tracks stock levels at customer location.
  • Responsible for submitting itineraries, call reports and any other corporate or local requirements.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, OR six months to one year related experience and/or training.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of CRM systems, Company Reporting Software, Internet Software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
  • Valid Driver's License, current Insurance.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
