Therapeutic Support Specialist

The Therapeutic Support Specialist plays a vital role in the daily supervision of clients enrolled in assigned programs at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health. This position requires a high level of professionalism, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The primary function of this role is to provide backup support, crisis support, and coverage for staff absences as necessary to Therapeutic Group Leaders. Additionally, the Therapeutic Support Specialist assists the supervisor in the support and implementation of evidence-based models and completion of administrative tasks as assigned/requested.
Key responsibilities include providing coverage for Therapeutic Group Leaders when there is an absence, delivering all services as a TGL, and collaborating in the implementation of individual treatment plans. The Therapeutic Support Specialist must also possess proficient use of all teaching procedures.
Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Leadership experience in child-serving systems is strongly preferred, as is TFM Certified practitioner status. The ideal candidate will possess minimum technical skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and the ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
