At TALBERT HOUSE, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and acting as a resource for TSS II staff at site, organizing shift tasks to ensure efficient use of resources and time available without compromising safety and security of clients or staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively supervise and engage clients to create a safe and therapeutic environment, including planning, implementing and supporting therapeutic/educational activities.
  • Utilize approved techniques to maintain safety of clients and staff, including crisis de-escalation and conflict management.
  • Promote healthy and professional relationships with and between clients, including helping clients learn to make appropriate decisions.
  • Maintain health and safety standards within the facility.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation utilizing designated software.
  • Respond to emergencies or incidents through approved practices and protocols.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or High School Equivalency.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 1-3 years experience in similar setting.
