Logistics Engineer Position:
The Role:
As a logistics engineer, you recognize that every initiative depends on well-defined management protocols. Your expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulations, budgeting, and procurement is crucial, and you understand the importance of leveraging technology and software tools for effective property management to uphold mission integrity. We seek a logistics engineer to apply your engineering and process enhancement skills to create solutions for the U.S. Army.
Your proficiency in property management, particularly with Government Furnished Property or Government Furnished Equipment, will be vital in coordinating all system components and ensuring sustainable integration and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insights into the status and disposition of equipment to develop management tools and processes.
- Utilize findings to create actionable plans that meet design specifications and guarantee operational effectiveness.
- Leverage your experience in acquisition, storage, movement, distribution, maintenance, and disposal of materials, facilities, and services to ensure quality in mission-critical solutions.
In this capacity, you will apply your logistics and materials expertise to enhance the safety of personnel in the field. Collaborating with senior team members, you will utilize your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement to drive effective resolutions.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and related procurement processes.
- Ability to analyze data to establish property management objectives and identify necessary support, including funding and technical assistance.
- Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, business development, configuration management, life cycle support, documentation control, database management, and logistics engineering; or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Professional Property Manager Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Army or DoD acquisition, sustainment, support, maintenance, and logistical functions.
- Familiarity with Army, DoD, and GSA policies regarding Government Furnished Property or Equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 annually.
Work Environment:
Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
