Job Summary

About the Role

The LPN New Graduate Program at Aveanna Healthcare provides novice nurses with the knowledge and skills needed to transition to competence in clinical nursing practice. The program bridges the gap between undergraduate education and real-life professional nursing practice, delivering state-of-the-art pediatric care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes in condition to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner whenever care is delivered.
  • Participate, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
