Estimated Salary$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThis role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to groundbreaking projects that have real-world implications. You will become a subject matter expert in customer service delivery, sales, our network, business branding and marketing, and operations of our sister company, Guardian School Security Systems.
As a Strategic Partner, you will liaison with others within our organization to develop sales and marketing plans and be a joint force with our Minnesota Strategic Team. Daily responsibilities will vary but can include committee planning, project management, reporting, working with various vendors, contractors, local/state/federal government, and other entities, establishing processes, customer relation strategy, product delivery, and community/public partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic partnership plans to drive business growth and expand market presence.
- Negotiate contracts with industry stakeholders, organizations, and key players to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Oversee the execution of collaborative projects resulting from strategic partnerships, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting predetermined objectives.
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers, acting as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles.
- Minimum 2 years' experience growing and leading a team of sales professionals.
- Proven record of accomplishment in tech sales, strategic partnerships, lobbying, or business development, preferably within the technology or related industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex contractual agreements.
- Experience with PM software/CRM systems and Adobe or other applicable software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess partnership performance and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
- Project management experience, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of public relations strategies and media relations preferred.
