About the Position

In this position, you will oversee the operational aspects of the store, guiding team members to achieve exceptional customer service and operational effectiveness. Your role will involve instructing, mentoring, and managing the implementation of all operational and service protocols aimed at consistent performance and efficiency. You will be responsible for the overall outcomes and success of key performance indicators, with a primary focus on enhancing sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective operational procedures, including product receiving, processing, stockroom management, and omni-channel fulfillment.
  • Enhance accuracy by completing all necessary business directives, such as merchandise disposition practices.
  • Maintain optimal product levels on the sales floor by planning and directing replenishment based on sales trends and seasonal variations.
  • Lead initiatives at the point of sale and customer service areas to ensure quick service transactions while creating an engaging customer experience.
  • Manage the training processes for new team members in operations and service, ensuring they are well-versed in best practices, inventory procedures, productivity standards, and how to utilize company tools and resources.
  • Prevent loss by educating team members, monitoring daily store activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and collaborating with Loss Prevention.
  • Support and collaborate with merchandising leaders in the store regarding the placement and standards of incoming products.

  • Assessing key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed business decisions that enhance overall store performance.
  • Managing talent, including hiring, training, developing, and supervising team members.
  • Completing multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Training, monitoring, and reinforcing adherence to company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Maintaining compliance with company safety policies to ensure the safety of team members and customers.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

Essential:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience in supervising teams or associates, including coaching to achieve daily objectives and performance management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities to make prompt decisions, resolve conflicts, and address issues.
  • Robust people management skills with a focus on talent development.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial capacity.
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and two years of experience in retail or a similar field.

Compensation Range: $63,000 - $95,900.00
