Role Summary

The Member Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the Member Service team within the Service Center. This position entails providing leadership and technical guidance to ensure that both work quality and member service standards are consistently met. You will effectively manage member transactions and account inquiries, applying sound judgment in all decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage Service Center personnel, including staff scheduling and monitoring lobby activity to ensure optimal member service.
  2. Inspire, train, and mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  3. Oversee the daily balancing of teller transactions, vault, ATM, and cash handling to ensure accuracy and security.
  4. Act as the first point of contact for resolving member and staff issues, ensuring compliance with all operational policies.
  5. Conduct regular staff meetings to address operational and regulatory matters, ensuring all staff are informed and compliant.
  6. Provide performance feedback to the Center Manager regarding team members, assisting in performance evaluations and improvement plans.
  7. Fulfill Member Service Representative duties as needed to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

Experience: Minimum of 2.5 years in customer service, sales, or team leadership, with a preference for experience in a financial institution.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a commitment to exceptional member service. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic math skills are essential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
