OBJECTIVE


The Assembly Team Leader is responsible for overseeing repetitive assembly tasks, guiding and training the assembly workforce to efficiently produce items such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs through the execution of various duties.


WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Thursday - 4:30pm - 3:00am

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Organizes and delegates work assignments among the assembly team to achieve daily, weekly, project, or team production targets.

Monitors job tracking and reporting, ensuring the productivity and performance of the assembly team.


Instructs new assembly personnel on the necessary tasks for component assembly, including assembly techniques, tool and machinery usage, and adherence to safety protocols.

Operates in a dynamic environment where tasks may vary based on the models of products being assembled.

Positions components in specified arrangements.

Secures parts using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, or other fastening methods.

Identifies and removes defective items as necessary.

Operates machinery to perform fitting or fastening tasks on the assembly line.

Shifts between different workstations as production demands dictate.

Maintains cleanliness of equipment, floors, and workspaces in accordance with safety standards.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

LEADERSHIP ROLE
Provides guidance to workflow; however, this position does not include formal supervisory duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, an individual must effectively carry out each essential duty. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

A minimum of two years of experience in component assembly or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience in carpentry or manufacturing is preferred.

The employee must consistently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.


Specific vision capabilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


While performing the duties of this position, the employee is continuously exposed to moving mechanical parts and may encounter airborne particles.

The employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions; extreme temperatures; risk of electrical shock; and vibrations.

The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.


Employees will be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as mandated by safety regulations.
