Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roof Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team at Houck Specialty Contractors. As a key member of our roofing operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of roofs on various structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of roof maintenance technicians and laborers in performing routine maintenance and repairs on roofs.
  • Inspect roofs to identify potential issues and develop plans for repair or replacement.
  • Supervise the application of coatings and other materials to roof surfaces.
  • Investigate and repair roof leaks and other issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing maintenance and repair.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel, sometimes for overnight or multiple-day stays. The standard work environment has loud to very loud noise levels associated with various equipment, coworkers, and phone conversations. Often work must be performed in high and/or cramped workspaces and awkward positions.
