Job Summary

El Centro Family Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Taos Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of clinic operations, including supervision of staff, patient flow, and administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct Clinic Receptionists and Medical Records/Referrals staff to ensure seamless patient flow and accurate processing of patient payments and insurance claims.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports, purchase orders, and documentation for financial disbursement and reimbursements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and company financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Regional Administrator to develop and implement strategies to improve clinic operations and patient satisfaction.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One (1) year of management and customer service experience in a related field.
  • Preferred: Three (3) years' experience in managing a healthcare office or related facility, with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in medical records working in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Experience with medical terminology and health insurance claims, Medicaid, and Medicare.
  • Preferred: AA Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent academic study, and bi-lingual English/Spanish.
