Position Overview


The role is designed to facilitate the smooth and precise transaction processing and customer service operations within the Company branch, adhering to all established policies and procedures.

This position also encompasses oversight of security measures and compliance protocols within the unit, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines and effective communication with relevant personnel.

The individual will be expected to fulfill the responsibilities of both a Teller and a Customer Service Representative.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers at a designated teller station by executing a variety of transactions in line with Company procedures.
  • Conduct balancing and maintenance of the branch and responsible offsite ATM(s) as necessary.
  • Provide assistance to customers by addressing inquiries and facilitating access to specialized services from other Company departments.
  • Respond to requests related to specific areas of expertise or customer inquiries within established time frames and Company policies.
  • Complete necessary documentation and perform point-of-sale processing for all types of new accounts, including loans and deposits.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities from existing and potential customers.
  • Deliver sales information promptly to ensure inclusion in monthly and year-to-date sales performance reports.
  • Offer safe deposit box services to customers.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the features and benefits of all Company products and services.
  • Provide periodic reports to the Teller Supervisor and other unit supervisors, as well as relevant groups or individuals.
  • May require registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) to assist with consumer and residential lending processes.
  • Act as the supervisor on duty in the absence of the Assistant Branch Manager and/or Branch Manager.
  • Work on Saturdays as required, including opening and closing the branch, office, and/or vaults under dual control, and setting alarms as necessary.
  • May be required to support other Company branch locations as needed.
  • Assist the team as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related role (customer service/sales); banking experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in the sales process, with the ability to identify and recommend products and achieve referral goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills.
