Why Your Role Matters:As the initial point of contact at VCA, the Client Service Specialist establishes the atmosphere of the practice, fostering trust and confidence in our capabilities.
The CSR is integral to the hospital's functionality and is accountable for:Key Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service, including welcoming visitors, managing phone calls, and directing clients and their pets to examination areas.
- Coordinating and confirming appointments.
- Making outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to potential clients.
- Communicating and clarifying fees, including processing payments.
- Advising on, selecting, and acquiring products and services, including prescriptions.
- Responding to inquiries regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal care and non-medical pet management (e.g., heartworm prevention, house training, and flea & tick management).
- Maintaining medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
- Ensuring the hospital environment is tidy and organized at all times—both indoors and outdoors.
