About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Sales and Relationship Development Executive to join our team at WorldWide Cellars Inc - Rootstock Wine Company. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, providing outstanding service, and offering comprehensive product knowledge.

As an Account Manager, you will present wines to customers, develop relationships with restaurant and retail buyers, and provide creative solutions to grow your territory's sales revenue.

You will plan in-store tastings for consumers with your retail customers and be responsible for managing and growing your business with existing customers, as well as prospecting and adding new accounts to your territory.

Main Duties
  1. Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and product knowledge.
  2. Manage territory sales, including planning in-store tastings and facilitating consumer events.
  3. Present wines to customers, sharing their stories and specifications.
  4. Grow your customer base by prospecting new accounts and managing existing relationships.

A competitive salary is expected to be around $60,000 per year, with a generous commission structure that can take your earnings up to $80,000 annually.

Necessary Skills
  • An organized and driven individual with a solid understanding of fine wine.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, actively listen, and employ innovative sales techniques.
  • Experience selling wine in a restaurant or through formal wine education programs is beneficial.
  • A personal vehicle, mobile device, and proficiency with MS Excel and CRM platforms required.
