Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative General Laborer to manage our construction and renovation projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of construction and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resources needed to complete each project successfully
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure project plans meet client needs and expectations
  • Hire and manage subcontractors, ensuring they follow safety protocols and complete work on schedule and within budget
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the project, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, within industry regulations, and that necessary permits are obtained before work begins
  • Manage unforeseen issues or changes to the project plan efficiently and effectively
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a General Contractor, preferably in both residential and commercial construction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with all aspects of construction, including building codes, safety regulations, and permits
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and other technical documents
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at once
