Job Summary:
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for selecting subcontractors for various projects, overseeing the execution of work, and managing customer supplements or change orders. The role culminates in a final inspection and project closure conducted by the Construction Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and assess construction projects
- Assign appropriate subcontractors to each job
- Develop comprehensive budgets to ensure profitability
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects
- Assist with collections as necessary
- Prepare repair estimates using Xactimate
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with daily interaction with clients
- Demonstrated experience in residential construction
- Ability to manage and oversee 10 to 20 projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimation is preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential
- Knowledge of insurance processes is advantageous, but not mandatory
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule
