Healthcare Support Specialist

At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate environment. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients who require extended hospital care.
We employ over 50,000 people across the country and provide quality care to approximately 70,000 patients each day. Our mission is to promote healing and recovery by delivering an outstanding patient experience.
We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, we provide shift differentials for nights and weekends, as well as opportunities for career advancement.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of relevant work experience. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire. Experience as a nursing assistant, medical assistant, or actively enrolled nursing student is also desirable.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing services for patients, including bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care.
- Answering patient lights and providing timely assistance to meet their physical needs.
- Participating in hourly rounds to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Maintaining cleanliness of instruments and equipment, as well as patient rooms.
