We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Monitor Specialist to join our team at Select Medical Corporation.

About the Role

As a Medical Monitor Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care by continuously monitoring and interpreting EKG readings. Your attention to detail and ability to respond promptly to alarms will be crucial in providing timely interventions and preventing potential complications.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Located in DeSoto, Texas 75115, this position provides an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor EKG readings and respond promptly to alarms
  • Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifacts
  • Maintain EKG monitor alarms and ensure accurate strip interpretations

You will work closely with registered nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians to provide comprehensive patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career in healthcare.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Current LPN licensure or RN nursing student with EKG training
  • Ability to pass EKG class and required competencies within 30 days of start date
