Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Administer medication/treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Receive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders accurately.
  • Develop and evaluate individualized care plans for residents.
  • Identify and secure necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Direct and oversee subordinate staff effectively.
  • Participate in duty assignments and coordinate subordinates' tasks and time allocations.
  • Monitor infection control compliance and investigate accidents/incidents thoroughly.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • Experience in long-term healthcare is preferred.
  • Management/Supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are necessary.
