ROLE SUMMARY
The Housekeeping Operations Specialist plays a vital role within the housekeeping division, encompassing various responsibilities that ensure the hotel maintains its high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Your primary duties will include upholding the cleanliness and organization of public spaces and grounds, adhering to the company's quality benchmarks while delivering exceptional service to our guests.

You will also be responsible for managing the mini-bar services, ensuring that each guest enjoys a well-stocked and maintained mini-bar throughout their stay.

Regular cleaning and inventory checks of mini-bars will be part of your routine, along with posting charges accurately to guest accounts before departure.

In addition, you will oversee the handling of guest linens, which includes preparing soiled linens for washing, conducting inspections, and organizing clean linens.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Cleaning and sanitizing designated public areas in line with company and franchise policies.
- Assisting the executive housekeeper with various tasks such as deliveries and waste management.
- Supporting front desk staff with guest deliveries and cleaning guest rooms during off-peak hours.
- Ensuring that all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and secured.

- Utilizing cleaning supplies and chemicals in accordance with safety protocols, ensuring all items are correctly labeled.

- Providing outstanding customer service that exceeds guest expectations, promptly addressing any requests.
- Maintaining a daily log of mini-bar inventory and replenishing items as needed.
- Keeping the mini-bar pantry organized and ensuring all products are within their expiration dates.
- Rotating mini-bar stock to ensure freshness.
- Managing assigned mini-bar carts and servicing rooms as requested.
- Following all safety and operational procedures.
- Reporting any mini-bar issues or guest concerns to management.
- Sorting, separating, and laundering soiled linens from guest accommodations.
- Preparing food and beverage linens promptly.
- Inspecting laundered items for cleanliness and readiness for service.
- Folding and/or pressing linens as required.
- Maintaining adequate supplies of linen and laundry materials.
- Ensuring the laundry room is clean and organized.
- Storing folded linens in the designated supply area.
- Conducting inventories as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Keeping the linen area neat, stocked, and orderly.
- Adhering to grooming and uniform standards as outlined by the company.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding guest requests and assigned duties.
- Reporting any incidents or injuries to the appropriate supervisor.
- Contributing ideas for operational improvements and participating in training initiatives.
- Completing any additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor, including mentoring new team members.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Previous experience in housekeeping or customer service, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess U.S. Work Authorization.
