Position Overview
The Housekeeping Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the hotel environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas and grounds, adhering to company standards.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to hotel guests, promptly addressing their requests.
  • Manage mini-bar inventory, ensuring it is fully stocked and well-maintained throughout guest stays.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks of mini-bar items and post charges to guest accounts as necessary.
  • Handle guest linens efficiently, including preparation for washing, inspection, and proper storage of clean items.

Daily Duties
  • Sanitize assigned public areas in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist the executive housekeeper with various tasks, including deliveries and waste management.
  • Support front desk staff with guest deliveries and cleaning of rooms after hours.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and security of housekeeping equipment.
  • Utilize cleaning supplies and chemicals responsibly, following safety protocols.

Mini-Bar Management
  • Maintain accurate records of mini-bar stock and replenish items as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the mini-bar pantry.
  • Regularly check for expired products and follow procedures for their removal.
  • Maintain assigned mini-bar carts and complete service requests efficiently.

Linen Management
  • Receive, sort, and launder soiled linens from guest rooms.
  • Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and serviceability.
  • Organize and store folded linens in designated areas.
  • Keep the laundry room clean and stocked with necessary supplies.

Team Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers regarding guest requests and tasks.
  • Report incidents and injuries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in training and skill development initiatives.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in housekeeping and customer service, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • U.S. Work Authorization is required.
