ROLE SUMMARY
The Housekeeping Operations Specialist plays a vital role within the housekeeping division, ensuring that the hotel maintains a pristine environment for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include upholding the cleanliness and organization of public spaces and grounds, adhering to the company's high standards while delivering exceptional service to all hotel patrons.

You will also be responsible for managing the mini-bar inventory, ensuring it is fully stocked and well-maintained throughout each guest's stay.

Regular cleaning of mini-bars and accurate inventory management will be part of your daily tasks, along with posting charges to guest accounts prior to their departure.

Moreover, you will oversee the handling of guest linens, which includes preparing soiled items for laundering, conducting inspections, and organizing clean linens for storage.


DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned public areas in line with company and franchise guidelines.
- Assist the executive housekeeper with various tasks, including deliveries and waste management.
- Support front desk staff with guest deliveries and cleaning duties during off-peak hours.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and secured.

- Utilize cleaning supplies and chemicals responsibly, ensuring all items are correctly labeled as per safety policies.

- Provide outstanding customer service, promptly addressing guest requests.
- Track and complete daily mini-bar inventory worksheets.
- Replenish mini-bar items as needed.
- Keep the mini-bar pantry organized and stocked.
- Regularly check for expired products in the mini-bar and follow procedures for removal.
- Maintain assigned mini-bar carts and fulfill requests for mini-bar service in designated rooms.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Report any mini-bar issues or guest concerns to management.
- Process soiled linens from guest rooms, ensuring proper separation and laundering.
- Prepare food and beverage linens efficiently.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and readiness for service.
- Fold and/or press linens as necessary.
- Manage linen and laundry supplies, including cleaning agents.
- Keep the laundry room clean and organized.
- Store laundered items appropriately in the linen supply area.
- Conduct inventories as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized linen area.
- Adhere to grooming and uniform policies, wearing the appropriate attire and name tag.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding guest requests and assigned duties.
- Report all incidents and injuries to the appropriate supervisor.
- Contribute ideas for improving hotel operations and participate in training and development initiatives.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by a supervisor, including training new team members.
- Perform all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Previous experience in housekeeping or customer service, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess U.S. Work Authorization.
