Lead Clinical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Supervisor to join our team at the Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC). As a key member of our Crisis Solution Center (CSC) Program, you will play a critical role in providing stabilization, treatment, and referrals for individuals impacted by mental illness and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of day shift operations, including engagement and short-term case management services.
- Monitor contractual and reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with agency, state, and county policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with CSC Project Managers to coordinate client care and integration of CSC projects.
- Supervise and coordinate administrative and clinical activities of CDF/CDIS night staff, including progressive discipline and performance evaluations.
- Plan and conduct agency quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with human service organizations, promoting continuity of care for clients.
- Provide individual supervision and consultation to CSC MHP and BHCM case managers, assessing strengths and training needs.
- Develop and implement clinical trainings, such as risk assessment, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care.
- Facilitate team meetings, promoting team cohesion and effective communication.
- Provide direct clinical supervision, scheduling, and support to Night Supervisors, ensuring seamless operations.
- Eligible for a Licensed AAC credential or equivalent, with a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- One or more years of experience in community-based behavioral health services, with a focus on working with adults experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders.
- Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of recovery-focused, strengths-based work in mental health, harm reduction, and trauma-informed strategies.
