Clinical Supervisor Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor Lead to join our team at Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Crisis Solution Center (CSC) program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and substance use disorders.
The Clinical Supervisor Lead will provide leadership and guidance to a team of mental health professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and support to provide excellent care to our clients. This includes supervising and coordinating the administrative and clinical activities of the CSC team, conducting quality assurance activities, and collaborating with other DESC staff to ensure continuity of care for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and at least one year of experience in community-based behavioral health services. They will also have a strong understanding of recovery-focused, strengths-based work in mental health, as well as harm reduction and trauma-informed strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the administrative and clinical activities of the CSC team
- Conduct quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other DESC staff to ensure continuity of care for clients
- Provide individual supervision and consultation to CSC mental health professionals
- Assess each employee for strengths and training needs, and provide regular supervision and clinical consultation
Requirements:
- Eligible for a Licensed AAC credential or equivalent
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field
- At least one year of experience in community-based behavioral health services
- Strong understanding of recovery-focused, strengths-based work in mental health
- Knowledge of harm reduction and trauma-informed strategies
