Counseling Supervisor Opportunity

Arcadia Psychotherapy is seeking an experienced clinical supervisor to support our growing internship program. As a Counseling Supervisor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular supervision to interns, fostering a supportive and guiding environment.
  • Review and sign clinical notes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Facilitate discussions on ethical considerations and professional development, promoting growth and self-awareness.
  • Monitor and evaluate interns' progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Create a safe and nurturing space for interns to explore their therapeutic style and approach.
  • Collaborate with staff to enhance the internship program, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Liaise with educational institutions as needed, ensuring seamless integration and support.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for mentoring and developing new clinicians, with a strong commitment to their growth and success.
  • Master's degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • Licensed in Washington State (LMHC, MFT) with at least two years of experience post-full licensure.
  • Experience with couple or family counseling, with a strong understanding of diverse therapeutic approaches.
  • Previous supervisory or mentoring experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong ethical stance and commitment to professional integrity, with a focus on promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Ability to maintain consistent weekly supervision times, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
