Position Summary


The Vice President of Consolidation and Reporting for the Studio Group HQ will oversee the consolidation and financial reporting for the Studio Group segment within NBCUniversal. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives in controllership, aligning with the objectives established by the CFO and Controller, while also focusing on the growth and development of the controllership teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and enhance a robust controllership team that delivers exceptional consolidation, reporting, and accounting services throughout the Studio Group, ensuring high-quality outcomes through effective internal controls.
  • Oversee the monthly and quarterly closing processes for the Studio Group Segment, ensuring accurate financial reporting to NBCU Corporate, coordinating across all global business units.
  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team during the closing process to align timelines and reporting goals.
  • Lead additional areas such as net distribution accounting and intercompany transactions, ensuring effective controllership administration.
  • Identify and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks, enhancing controllership through thorough pre-close activities and regular communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business unit Controllers and CFOs, ensuring clear communication of operational and strategic objectives.
  • Mentor and develop Director and Manager level staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback to support their career growth.
  • Drive improvements in policies, processes, and internal controls, contributing to technology innovation initiatives.
  • Engage with Internal and External audit teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Qualifications


Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in managing teams within a global context, particularly in global consolidation processes (preferably US GAAP).

Additional Information

Salary Range:
$180K-$240K (eligible for bonuses and long-term incentives).
